Had a great time at the nature center with our children today !! They loved everything and so did my husband and I ! Bruce the tortoise was cool!! My personal favorite was watching the Greek tortoise run around her little open cage !! I would say overall we definitely enjoyed ourselves and we most definitely will be returning
Our family was in visiting from Denver so we thought we would check this place out. At first I wasn’t sure why we had decided to because it is small and in a mall but looks can be deceiving! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter and I loved all of the hands on activities. We visit zoos in every town we visit so we know quite a bit about animals but we learned a ton of new stuff. Highly recommend you try this place if you like animals.
We not only like but appreciate the patience the staff have with all children that visit the location, in particular with my 4 yr old boy whose energy level and excitement is immeasurable.
We love the passion and the knowledge the staff exude when they are facilitating the exhibit tours and we love that because of this wonderful program, our children are expanding their vocabulary by learning the names of the animals, species, habitats, ecosystem roles, diet and the intrinsic individual characteristics of each animal.
Our yearly pass is getting plenty of use and we thank you for having this wonderful program in place!
This local zoo is small but mighty! We have the annual pass and it is the best investment for our family! It is in the mall which means we can stop by for a few minutes or a few hours! There are so many different animals to see and the staff is amazing! They are so knowledgeable and patient with the kids! Every time we go in they give us a personalized tour and we get to pet animals! My kids love it! There are so many animals that we usually only see 1/2 at a time which makes going back fun because we get to see the other 1/2! My daughter is one and my son is 5 and there is something for them both! Older kids will love it too! I can not recommend this place more! If your local you should consider getting an annual pass!
A friend and I visited here to check it out for her soon to be visiting grandchildren. What a wonderful place!! We (both of us seniors) spent 2 hours here. Kathy gave us a spectacular tour! The animals were well cared for and all interaction was supervised by the "animal ambassadors". I liked the fact that some of the animals were rescue animals, like Jacob the Eclectus parrot and Kaa the python. What a caring place for these animals to be. The cost was very reasonable. I will definitely go back!!
We were pleasantly surprised by the unusual, unique and well kept animals here. Also our guide was fun, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and engaging with her information.
